One of the foundational aspects to living a life of faith is being involved in and engaging with your own community. This means necessarily using a well-formed conscience with informed reason to participate fully in the political process. Because being God’s hands and feet on earth means helping to build a community in which all people’s dignity is upheld. And doing that requires some work.
